The Chamber of Auditors works by the new program of the tax auditing. The program has been prepared and approved by the chamber council in late December 2005, the unit told Trend.
The new program represents rules and conditions for conducting the auditing activities based on the countrys Tax Code, the auditing main lines and items.
Besides, holding a workshop with involvement of the Chamber auditors, representatives of other auditing companies operating in Azerbaijan, as well as officials from the Tax Ministry is scheduled shortly at the unit.

Along with this, the structure carries out the work over the legislation improvement in auditing, particularly, the laws On auditing services and On internal audit, the work over which is implemented on the account of the World Bank technical assistance. The World Bank grant for the development of the book-keeping and auditing systems is $340,000. These works are planned to complete in 2006.
