Azersun Holding plans to commission in February 2006 the first sugar refinery in Imishli, the holding told Trend. Installment of the equipment at the factory is accomplished and its testing is underway.
Besides, the company is currently possessing huge stocks of sugar-beet in the amount of 15,000 tons for producing sugar.
Touching upon the issue of investments in the project, for today this figure is about $80 million, the enterprise noted.

The number of employees at the company established in 1992 exceeds 3,000 people.
