Specialists of European countries will assist Azerbaijan in the fight against the bird flu.
For the moment the experience of Turkey and Croatia is used and specialists from these states are actively involved in it, the State Veterinary Service under the Agriculture Ministry told Trend.
В"The main goal for the specialists visit is exchange of experience with the Azerbaijani counterparts in implementing measures on preventing the virus spreading within Azerbaijan, the state structure noted.
The expert of the UNO Food and Agricultural Organization (FAO) is also in Baku with the same purpose.
The experience of the specialists and experts of the World Health Organization (WHO) has been used for preparing the plan of measures on fighting the bird flu virus in the country, which has already been submitted to the government for consideration.
Along with this, the samples collected during the monitoring in Azerbaijan in regard to the bird flu will be additionally analysed in Germany and the United Kingdom.
