In the framework of the search measures by the Azerbaijan tax bodies check-ups have been held at the head office of the Technikabank, its branches Capital, Hayat and Inshaatchilar, as well as the Sumgayit branch of Debyutbank. Besides, inspections have been held in the apartments of some companies heads, suspected in the frauds with VAT.
As Trend reports, at the result of the searches at the Technikabank head office seals of two companies which keep funds at this bank have been found. Signed and sealed but not filled blanks for receiving cash money, as well as registration documents and special blanks for strict accounts have been found and seized as material proof of belonging to one of these companies.
Another serious break of law has been found at the branch of the Technikabank, the Inshaatchilar. Signed, sealed but not filled cheque-books for receiving cash money, belonging to 29 firms and signed, sealed but not filled blanks belonging to 50 firms which were supposed to be forged have been found here. During investigation, some facts concerning the executives of the most companies, whom the forged documents belonged, have been revealed. As it has been made clear, some of them died 15 years ago, the other were jailed for long periods or were beyond the country.
At the result, an employee of the Techikabank head office has been detained as suspect and as the evidence, the PC processor of the Hayat bank employee has been seized.
The Technikabank board chairman Samir Huseynov confirmed the fact of the tax inspections. В"Check-ups at the Technikabank by tax bodies have been related to the activities of two firms В"Рћlimp-LВ" and В"ButaВ", which had been served by the bank in 2003В", Huseynov told Trend.
В"When the officers of the Tax Ministry applied to us we gave them all needed documents, related to the companies they are interested in, Huseynov said.
