Azerbaijan and Israel hold negotiations in relation to conclusion of agreements on protection of investment and joinning the Convention on avoiding of double taxation, Samir Valiyev, the chief executive of the Economic Development Ministry, said to journalists on Friday, Trend reports.
Israel is one of the developed countries of the world and Azerbaijan is particularly interested in the development of agricultural relations with it, Valiyev stressed. He noted that the agrarian sector is more potential in the non-oil sector of the economy of Azerbaijan.
According to Valiyev, the indispensable condition of the development of the economic relations between the countries is holding of economic forums. The first forum will be organized in Baku from 20 to 21 February 2006.
