The State Customs Committee of Azerbaijan (SCC) has identified the list of countries to which the customs attachГ© will be appointed, the SCC chairman Aydin Aliyev has said today, Trend reports.
According to him, the attachГ© will be sent to Georgia, Russia, Iran, Turkey and Belgium.
В"Georgia is the priority, where we are to have our representative who will be dealing mostly with controlling of goods shipment through the Georgian territory to Armenia and resolving the issues at the Azerbaijani-Georgian border, Aliyev stressed.
As for representatives in Russia, Iran and Turkey, the SSC head underlined, these countries are the key trade partners of Azerbaijan and the World Customs Organization (WTO), with which SCC cooperates closely. And it was considered expedient to appoint attaches exactly in these countries.
В"The officers will be selected based on the competition from the SCC staff, having considerable work experience and having knowledge of various languages, Aliyev summarized.
