Finance Ministry closes a tender on issue of documentary stamps for alcoholic & tobacco products

On Monday the Azerbaijani Finance Ministry announced a winner of the tender, held on issue of documentary stamps for produced and imported alcoholic and tobacco products on 2 March, Trend reports.

The winner of the tender became Ukrainian Polygraphic center, printing documentary stamps for Azerbaijan from 2000. Applications for participation in the tender were presented by 4 companies such as Ukranian Polygraphic center, British Optaglio, German Giesecke

& Devrient, Lithuanian Garsu Pasaulis. The Ministry preferred the Ukranian Company due to low value of the order and technical parameters of the stamps. Garsu Pasaulis was granted with 2nd place.

The Ukranian Company proposed to implement the work for $1,617,000 with delivery terms from 8 to 12 weeks, Optaglio - 1,368,500 euros with евро delivery terms from 8 to 12 weeks, Giesecke and Devrient - 1,995,900 euros delivery terms from 2 to 12 weeks, Garsu Pasaulis 1,620,000 euros on the expiry of 30 days.

The task of Polygraphic center is issue 50m documentary stamps for beer produced in the country, 20m - alcoholic drinks, 200m - tobacco products, as well as 10m - imported beer, 10m - alcoholic drinks, 250m - tobacco products.
