Baku Steel Company (BSC) has stopped export to Russia and Turkmenistan considering the growing domestic demand for the factorys produce in Azerbaijan, BSC told Trend.
We also actively export our production to Georgia, where it is used for the BP projects, company noted.
According to the company, it has impressing stocks of the rough material, which were obtained with the help from government. Factory had to stop production in January due to the lack of rough materials. Enterprise needs 1000-1200 tons of rough materials daily.
The factory has plans to increase its production outputs on 25% in 2006
BSCs production capacity is 350.000 tons annually and it employs more than 2,000 persons, being the second largest taxpayer of the country.
