Ata-holding and Di Martino to continue talks on the macaroni factory construction in April

Talks between Ata-holding and Di Martino to construct a macaroni factory in the Hachmaz district will be continued in April, the holding `s head Hakan Ozalpai told Trend. Approximately 6-8 months and $5-7m of first stage investment are needed to build the factory.

The project `s total cost is $7,2m, $3,4m of them will be provided via SACE Italy credits with the 6,25% annual rate and the rest will be provided by the means of the National Fund for the entrepreneurship support. 11.000 tons of the macaroni produce will be produced annually at the factory, according to the project, 50% of the produce will be exported by the Italian partners net. The equipment for the factory will be purchased at the Austrian company Schaller. Ozalpai did not exclude possibility to build the second macaroni factory in another region of the country. defined by the availability of the rough materials sources.

The holding `s experts are planning to visit Turkey after Azerbaijan, he said. Realization of the 2 projects was suggested to Azerbaijan by the Italian company, Zanzi and Turkish FruTas- on intensive gardening and potato seed-farming. Works are now being carried out together with the AtaAqro to realize this project. The project `s major aim is to create new sorts of Azeri fruits and export the ready produce to Russia, Near East, Europe and Japan.
