The International Monetary Fund (IMF) mission has set to consultations with the Azerbaijani government on Wednesday to discuss forms of further cooperation with the country. Vitaliy Kramarenko, the head of the mission of IMF Department for work with the Near Eastern and Central Asian countries, will arrive in Baku on 14 April and stay here till 18 April.
The experts plan to hold meetings at the State Statistics Committee, National Bank of Azerbaijan, State Oil Fund of Azerbaijan, Finance Ministry, and State Oil Company of Azerbaijan till his arrival in the country. The sides will discuss review of fulfillment of budgetary forecasts for 1st quarter 2006, the inflation in the country.
IMF will propose Stand-by program envisaging support of macro-economic stability to the Azerbaijani government. Azerbaijan prefers consultative cooperation basing on programs without loans.
