Azeri Oil&Gas Industry Trade Union prepared materials for Caspian Oil & Gas 2006

Azeri Committee of Oil&Gas Workers Trade Union (ACOWTU) is currently preparing materials for the forthcoming exhibition Caspian Oil & Gas 2006 to take place June 6 through 9, 2006 in Baku, head of the Committee Djahangir Aliyev told Trend.

The Committee is partaking at the exhibition first time using the stand under the aegis of ICEM (International Federation of Chemical, Energy, Mine and General Workers Unions).

Alongside Azerbaijan, trade unions of Russia, Kazakhstan and other countries are taking part in the exhibition under this union.

Aliyev said all necessary materials had already been sent to ICEMs headquarters in Brussels; Azerbaijan joined ICEM in 1999.

Over 85% of the exhibition space were already reserved by large companies and national pavilions to date. National pavilions present Italy, Germany, Russia, UK, France and the USA. In total the exhibition will host nearly 350 companies from 30 countries.

In 2005, Caspian Oil & Gas presented over 300 exhibits from nearly 30 countries of the world.
