International experts visited agricultural facilities

International experts, Harry Smith and Niko van Vageningen will visit a research institute of agriculture and regional experimental station of Tartar on April 24-25, within the frames of preparations to the second stage of the agriculture and crediting development, conducted by the State agency on agricultural credits at the agriculture ministry together with the World Bank. The main aim of the visit is discussion of the institute modification program, the state agency told Trend.

They were informed about scientific researches conducted at the regional station and observed new types of grain cultures and plants.

Agency assured, that the modification program will allow to step up fertility and stability of major types of crops; corn, wheat, beans and etc.

A new laboratory will be created in order to test product quality analysis and certify the produce.

Besides, modernization of the institute will allow increasing competitiveness in the given areas, influencing research in other fields and built a deep base for reforms in the whole system in near future.
