The Association of Leasing Companies has refused from an idea on establishment of state leasing fund the chairman of the Association, Jeyhun Mamedbeyli, told Trend.

The idea in this stage is not real due to difficulty of procedures on establishment and approval of funds for the new fund. Therefore, we achieve access of leasing companies to the existing National Fund for Business Support, Mammedbeyli noted.

Last week the issue was discussed in a roundtable meeting with the representatives of the Ministry of Taxes and Finances, while this it was mulled at the Ministry of Economic Development. They met with understating the financial problems of leasing companies.

Mammedbeyli underlined that in the near future there will be designed a new scheme, which will imply approval of funds out of the National Fund, or other sources for leasing companies.

At preset the leasing companies cover their financial needs at the expense of banks which established them. Partially, the IFC and other international institutes finance the process.
