Hadi Rajabli: On Oncological Help Law to Take Measures for Reducing Oncological Patients

Examination and treatment at the state hospitals are realized on base of the state budget. Hadi Rajabli, the chairman of the permanent parliamentary commission on social policy, informed IAA Trend. He commented the measures taken for reducing oncological patients in the law On Oncological Help.

Speaking about the importance of the law, he stressed that many people in Azerbaijan is suffereing from the malignant tumor. This document is very important for receiving qualified medical and social aid. The actions for rendering oncological help may be realized on account of municipalities, obligatory medical insurance payments, contribution of juridical and physical persons, as well as other resources not-forbidden by the law, said Rajabli.

Besides, he spelled out that the bill will strengthen the rights of oncological patients. In accordance with the rules defined in the law, the people who have lost their labour ability receive medical and social help at medical and social defense institutions. The bill was discussed in the first and second readings in the parliament. Now, after the its issue it will be submitted to the third reading at the Parliament.
