State Securities Committee chairman took part in CIS and Baltic bond congress-2006

On June 29-30, Azeri delegation, headed by chairman of State Securities Committee Gunduz Mamedov, took part in CIS and Baltic bond congress-2006 arranged by Cbonds agency of Russia in Riga. Trend reports the target auditory of this event banks, investing companies, issuers, institutional investors and regulators of capital market.

Baku Stock Exchange (BSE) performed as an organizer of Azeri section in this event. The congress hosted some 300 representatives from 11 countries, including those from UK.

Performing at the congress, head chief of trade department with BSE Mansur Mamedov devoted his speech to the current trends at obligatory bills market of Azerbaijan. His presentation was mainly focused on state bonds market, NBA notes, as well as the analysis of expectations at enterprise and governmental securities market.

Akshin Amirov, representative of Respublika Bank, participant of the countrys securities market, said of the first successful experience of the bank bonds issue. Also, Amirov said of the bank development prospects, its market strategy and place at the banking services market.

At the end of the congress, BSE offered the organizers to lead the next congress in Azerbaijan.
