Preferential credits for entrepreneurship support issued to 822 entities during 6 months

As of July 1, 2006 National Fund for Business Support issued through its authorized credit agencies credits to 822 business entities in amount of 39.6mln AZN, Trend reports with reference to the Ministry of Economic Development.

Preferential credits have been purposed for financing of industrial production manufacture, agriculture production processing, farms, tourist infrastructure, service sphere.

From the total amount of issued credits, nearly 80% fell for regions, the rest concern tourism and services sphere. Nearly 8,000 workplaces have been opened for credits issued during 2006.

This year the amount of funds taken from the budget to support business rose in twice over year and amounted 80mln AZN. From this amount, 6mln AZN are purposed for Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic.

74mln AZN issued to the National Fund are distributed through 31 authorized credit agencies (25 commercial banks, 1 non-banking credit organization and 5 credit unions) selected by tender commission. 42mln AZN for the first and second stage have been transferred to the Funds account to date.
