Azerbaijan to take part at session of heads of CIS supreme financial control authorities

The Delegation of Azerbaijans Chamber of Accounts is taking part at the VII session of heads of CIS supreme financial control authorities (SFCA). Officials of Chamber of Accounts told Trend the delegation will be headed by Chamber chairman Namik Nasrullayev. The session will be held September 5-6, 2006 in Minsk.

At the meeting, delegations of Byelorussia, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Ukraine, Moldova and so are expected.

The previous session was held September 2005 in Kishinev, and Azeri delegation headed by N.Nasrullayev took part in it. The main topic discussed at the session were role of CIS SFCA in ensuring full and timely transfer of money to the budget, implementation of SFCA proposals and recommendations on the totals of audits as a factor of effectiveness of funds inflow to the budget.

By the totals of the session, two resolutions have been approved: В"Role of SFCA of CIS member-countries in ensuring full funds income to budgetВ" and В"Implementation of CIS SFCA recommendationsВ".

Council of heads of SCFA with CIS was established in 2000 in order to strengthen interaction and coordination of activities in state financial control field and exchange of experience in this sphere.
