The World Bank estimation mission on SKADA water project implementation in Azerbaijan has lead a presentation for the government and an related authorities operating with the countrys water industry, WB Baku office representatives told Trend.
Lee Travers, WB water supply manager, and Jurgen Vogel, director of irrigation sectors, are now in Baku within the mission. The strategy discussion is going on today.
The bank representatives said the government had been submitted several variants of works in water supply sector, different in cost depending on work scope.
The bank experts have arranged the project concept presentation. The project cost estimate is some $120mln. The project envisages automated alarm system, remote control and information obtaining, as well as restoration of water treatment structures.
