One of good inflation preventing measures is securities market expansion that promotes reducing of cash mass amount in circulation. Apart from stock market development inside the country, in the future is it suggested to create conditions for purchasing foreign issuers equities.
Chairman of State Equity committee Gunduz Mamedov told Trend today it is impossible due to some legislative problems. Such problems exist not only in Azerbaijan but also in neighbor countries (Russia, Kazakhstan, Georgia, Moldova and so). He also said regulatory usually restrict capital flow via equities.
В"At the moment, these countries legislation are being unified and legalized in order to overcome these barriers. I think we will create an opportunity for first bargains among the states and further bargains with equities. We are still studying each others regulatory to make thatВ", Mamedov said.
Besides, the issue of mutual recognition of securities market players operating in different countries is widely discussed now. В"There are problems with other countries brokers to and from Azerbaijan and these problems are being discussed at the moment. I think these problems will be solved in a year or twoВ", official said.
