During June 2006, factory prices for agricultural production rose by 4% over month and by 8.3% related to December 2005. Trend reports with reference to the State Statistics Committee, in May 2006 agricultural production price index made 99.5% related to May 2005. During this period, cost price of potatoes and grain-crops and fruits rose by 0.2% and 1.2%, respectively.
Price index for stock-raising production made 92% relatively to the previous month. Prices for eggs, milk and bird fell by 6.5%, 6.4% and 0.4%, respectively. Prices for forestry production fell by 2.8%.
During the first half-year, agricultural production totaled 656.7mln msnat. During this period, cattle-breeding production cost rose by 1.9% and that of plant growing by 8.6%.
