In the near future, the special commission of the Transport Ministry of Azerbaijan will complete the process of liquidating the transport department of the Executive Power of Baku city, Trend reports quoting the same ministry. It is a difficult process because about 760 people work in the department.
Earlier, according to the order of the Azerbaijani president, the transport department of Executive Power of Baku city was reformed and transferred to the Ministry of Transport. And the Transport Ministry of Azerbaijan created a special commission which will engage in the acceptance of the department within the order of the president on liquidation.
As it is stated in the order, this step is taken to avoid the repeat management and hold reforms. The reforms includes creating a discipline in the city transport, realizing passport system of routes, studying the flow of passengers and brining the transport system into modern level.
