Azeri Tax Ministry started large-scale raids in Baku

Starting today, Operative Control Unit with Baku Tax Department launched the large-scale actions with involvement of 350 tax inspectors. Trend reports at todays press conference Habil Mammadov, chief of the Unit, said toughening tax control aims at alignment of mutual accounting with population using cash registers.

Such raids will continue until all the sales point will issue checks to the buyers, said Mammadov. Moreover, several raids might be performed at the same facility.

As of July 1, 64,030 cash registers have been implemented across the republic, from which 22,046 in Baku alone. The raids performed in large facilities and gas stations resulted in reduction of violations at mutual settlements with the population.
