ATIB (Union of Azerbaijani-Turkish businessmen) is planning to realize the plans of creating national fund for education in third-fourth quarter of 2006. Today, a meeting is held with the representatives of UNICEF, which will focus on the prospects of the cooperation in the sphere of education, Ahmad Erentok, the head of the union, told Trend.
Today, there is a great demand in Azerbaijan for raise the education. Taking into consideration the influx of huge oil revenues into the country, it is required good knowledge to effectively and accurately manage them, Erentok told. According to Erentok, in order to raise the professional level, ATIB has concluded a memorandum with Baku State University. Besides, ATIB holds meetings with foreign investors to establish cooperation in the sphere of education.
