Azeri delegation is taking part in III annual conference with the Global Forum on Agricultural Research (GFAR). Officials of scientific-agrarian center of the Ministry of Agriculture, two Azeri specialists, head of scientific-agrarian center Asad Musayev and rector of Agricultural Academy Mamedtagi Jafarov, had been invited to the event taking place November 8 to 11 in New Delhi.
The day agenda includes the issues regarding application of agricultural studies results in developing countries, use of such studies for poverty reduction, possible cooperation till the year 2015, and so.
GFAR was established in 1996 as a result of signing the Declaration of Global Partnership in sphere of agricultural researches. The fund headquarters are located in Rome.
