The commission created by Azerbaijani parliament for appointing the mechanism of returning the deposits of population completed to study the issue, Trend reports quoting the permanent economical policy commission of parliament.
In connection with the results, the relevant bodies were submitted proposals.
The returning the deposits remained from the period of the Soviet Union will be realized on base of the law regulating this mechanism. The initial variant of the law is ready. The document will be presented to the discussion of fall session of parliament.
The number of people having deposits in banks during the Soviet Union is about 2 million. The 2006 state budget has allocated AZN 60 mln for this purpose.
