Azeri-German intergovernmental talks are scheduled to August 14 to 17, Trend reports quoting Mikail Jabbarov, deputy Minister of Economic Development of Azerbaijan. Azeri delegation to take part in German talks is headed by Economic Development Minister Heydar Babayev.
During the talks, Azerbaijan and Germany shall discuss mutual cooperation within signed financial agreements. It is also suggested to define amount of financial and technical assistance for the year 2007 from KFW and GTZ.
At the moment the proposals are being summarized in related governmental authorities.
Within the visit, the agreements signing is expected in case authority is delegated for such agreements signing by the moment.
In 2005 German investments in Azerbaijan amounted E160mln, mainly in the countrys oil sector.
