Azerbaijani specialist participates in the trainings of the World Vegetable Center-AVRDC, Trend reports with reference to the Ministry of Agriculture of Azerbaijan.
The training for methodology of experiences in vegetable-growing is attended by the employee of Institute of Scientific Research (ISR) Kh.Mammadova. The event will last until August 4, and on August 9, there will be held the meeting of coordinators which will be attended by the ISR director Fuad Mammadov who is the coordinator of the organization in Azerbaijan.
AVRDC was created in 1971. The primary goal of the organization is to research and develop vegetable-growing in the world and reduce the poverty in the developing countries through upgrade of production and consumption of vegetable.
