In January-June 2006, the volume of the cargo and passenger transportation in Nakchivan Autonomous Republic (NAR) has increased by 2.7% as comprised with the same period of 2005, Trend reports with reference to the permanent NAR representation in Baku.
Within this period, the transport enterprises of NAR has transported 3365.8 thousand tones of cargo and 20518.5 thousand passengers.
The revenues gained from the cargo and passenger transportation were reported at AZN 12254.1 thousand which is 11.1% more than the same period of 2005.
According to the information gained from the State Statistics Committee, within first half year, the transport means of Azerbaijan have transported 67.3 mln tones of various cargos.
