The Centre of Plants Protection of the State Fitosanitary Control Service of the Ministry of Agriculture has made a contract with the winners of the tender on buying of chemicals within struggle against extra-dangerous quarantine pests in 2006. As Trend Agency was told at the State Service, a Turkish Koruma Klor Alkali and Russian Khimindustriya won a tender being held on two lots on buying of insecticides-herbicides and rodenticides.
On the whole at the expense of the budget means 9 tons insecticides, 1 ton herbicides and 8 tons rodenticides will be bought.
Since insects particularly like locust, California butterflies, various species of caterpillars appear during sowing and harvest these measures are held by the Ministry all year round.We are expecting budget means allocation at the rate of more than 170,000 manats very soon. was pointed out at the State Service.
In 2005 250,000 manats was allocated on buying of chemicals.
