Today Namik Nasrullayev, chairman of the Chamber of Accounts of Azerbaijan, met with officials of USAID and US Treasury and representatives of Carana Corporation and SAR that handle automation of the countrys state treasury. Officials of Chamber of Accounts told Trend the main issue discussed at the meeting was the prospect of bringing information and analytical systems of the Chamber and State Treasury together.
Speaking on this matter, Nasrullayev said this is not possible for a simple reason that the chamber does not have such a system. In this respect Carana Corporation and SAR experts are coming to the chamber next week.
The Chamber official said the authority already several times submitted related proposals to the World Bank that issued credits under automation of Azerbaijan State Treasury.
