Incomes of IBA make up 16,914m AZN in first half-year

As of 1 July 2006, the profits of the International Bank of Azerbaijan (IBA) have constituted 16,914m AZN, with a rise of 68.4%.

The bank told Trend that the IBAs incomes in the first half-year reached 81,266m AZN, whereas last year the figure was 55,742m AZN. Incomes from interests made up 52,122m AZN (including on credits allocated to enterprises and physical entities -38.13m AZN, on funds placed at banks - 8,597m AZN), incomes from services and commission 29,145m AZN, transactions with plastic cards 4,517m AZN.

In this period the IBAs expenses constituted 64,353m AZN. The bank paid 15,464 AZN for payment of interests.

As of 1 July the assets of the International Bank of Azerbaijan rose 46.5%, making up 1,333,167m AZN, whereas in the similar period of 2005 the figure was 909,972m AZN. In the end of 2001 the asserts of the IBA comprised 333,591m AZN.

Credit portfolio of the bank in this period made up 746,161m AZN, while the total amount of deposits of legal and physical entities constituted 1,164,011m AZN, including the deposits of physical entities in the amount of 224,956m AZN. In the end of 2001 the deposit portfolio of the bank comprised 313,677m AZN.
