Azerbaijan, Russia, Kazakhstan to sign protocol on audit of Caspian bio-resources

The Accountancy Chambers of Azerbaijan and Russia and the Accountancy Committee on Control over republican budget of Kazakhstan will sign in September a protocol on audit of efficiency of the use of the Caspian marine biological resources and means directed at protection and rational use of sturgeon. The document was signed by the heads of accountancy chambers of the three countries, Trend reports.

The signing will be held during the visit of the delegation of the Azerbaijani Camber of Accountancy headed by the chairman Namik Nasrullayev to Minsk from 5 to 6 September. The 7th session of the Council of heads of supreme financial control bodies of CIS will be held in this period.

Iran and Turkmenistan voiced their readiness on presentation of relevant information n case if necessary.

Russia and Kazakhstan presented their proposals to Kazakhstan in respect to audit of several months ago. The document reflects the issues on legal-normative base in this direction, efficiency of measures directed at reproduction of sturgeon.

Joint examination will be complete by the end of 2006.
