If the ferries of the Caspian Shipping Company of Azerbaijan works in an uninterrupted duty and carry out the transportation of cargos in direction of the ports of Turkmenbashi and Aktau, then the problem emerged with accumulated carriages may be resolved by the end of September,Trend reports quoting the State Railway Department of Azerbaijan (SRDA). At the moments the ferries make three voyages to the eastern part of the Caspian Sea.
According to the information provided by the same source, today about 900 carriages with cargos intended to be dispatched to Turkmenistan and Kazakhstan have accumulated in Baku port.
At the moment, the pipes from Ukraine, alumina from Australia and the products of Ganja aluminum plant are being transported in this direction. Besides, the delivery of cargos to Nakchivan Autonomous Republic is realized through this route.
