(autoinsidernews) - Production of Dodges new small SUV, the 2007 Dodge Nitro, began at Toledos Jeep Liberty plant on Monday. The plant will begin a third shift starting Aug. 14, which will provide jobs to 750 workers who were idled or displaced when Jeep Parkway closed in June. The plant is targeted to produce a mix of 60 percent Nitros and 40 percent Libertys, reports Trend.
Dodge has not provided any details on Nitro pricing.
