Imishli Sugar Refinery Launched Its Production Export to Georgia

The Sugar-Refinery of Imishli has begun export of its production to Georgia, Trend was told at the Azersun Holding, the sugar-refinery is a part of which. The sugar-refinery has produced 120,000 tons of sugar since the commission of this factory.

The planned production capacity on granulated sugar is 1000 tons a day. Today the sugar-refinery has increased its planned production capacity and reached the production output of 1050-1100 tons a day. Working in the accordance with the beet sugar`s scheme on full capacity the monthly volume of necessary raw makes up 150,000 tons.

200,000 tons of white beet are forecasted to be processed in 2006, thereby totally 300,000 tons of granulated sugar are planned to be produced in this year. The factory is to realize a job family on improvement of technical scheme and full automation of the sugared-refinery in the nearest future.

The ceremony of commission of the factory with President Ilham Aliyev`s participation was held in Imishli in this spring.

At present the number of employers of Azersun holding established in 1992 exceeds 3,000 people. The spheres of its activity are tea processing and packing, processing of vegetable oil, trade and distributing, construction, banking, insurance, production of paperboard, meat and vegetable tins production, transporting and keeping of loads, etc.
