A total of 11 million barrels of oil has been transported via the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan (BTC) main export oil pipeline over the past 2 months, Trend reports citing the Turkish media. From 2 June till present, 12 million barrels of oil has been transported via this route, of which 11 million barrels was shipped by 16 tankers at the Heydar Aliyev terminal in Ceyhan, Turkey.
In accordance with the forecasts, annual plan of shipment of Azerbaijani oil will be implemented ahead of schedule. The Heydar Aliyev terminal is capable of shipping 2 tankers simultaneously and it passed oil to Italy, the Netherlands, Greece, India, France, UK, and Greek Cyprus.
So far, 3 tankers were shipped in Ceyhan in June, 9 in July and 4 in August.
