A Georgian-Azerbaijani business-forum started in Batumi on 17 August. Trend special correspondent in Tbilisi has been told at the Georgian Economy Ministry that Georgia has been represented by Prime Minister Zurab Nogaideli, the Minister for Economic Development Iragliy Chogovadze, governmental officials of the Autonomous Republic of Ajaria and businessmen.
Azerbaijan is represented by Prime Minister Artur Rasizade, as well as huge companies, including Ata Holding, Caspian Services, the International Bank of Azerbaijan, Azerigasbank and businessmen.
The business-forum will focus on economic cooperation between the two countries, investing and development of tourism. Irakliy Chogovadze will familiarize the guests with the priorities and perspectives of developments of Georgian economy.
The Georgian and Azerbaijani businessmen will have four-lateral meetings. During the forum it is planned to hold a presentation of the Georgian wine.
Azerbaijani delegation will leave Georgia on 18 August.
