The Azerbaijani Ministry of Finances has publicized the execution of the public budget of the country in the January to June 2006.
The Finance Ministry toldTrendthat in January to June the financial and macroeconomic indices have got considerably improved as compared to last year. The amount of the GDP increased 36.3% and made up 7146.4m manats, the per capita GDP made up 856 manats ($943.9), or 34.7% more than 2005.
In this period 2626.7m manats has been invested in social and economic fields of the country at the expense of the financial sources, which is 7.9 % more than 2005. The amount of construction and assembly work rose 10% and comprised 1372.1m manats.
Rise of good turnover constituted 12.1% (2698.2m manats), while the volume of commercial services rendered to population rose 34.6% and made 603.6m manats, the community deposits in banks rose 36.8% and reached 581.4m manats as of 1 June 2006.
The average monthly salary of population rose 20.4% as compared to last year and constituted 135.1 manats, per capita money incomes increased 18.3% and reached 580.7 manats.
In his period the forecast revenues of the public budget were defined in the amount defined 1516.
1m manats was fulfilled 102.1%. The figure rose 69.5%, or 634.2m manats as compared to 2005.
66.3 % or 1027.1m manats of the budget incomes fell on the Ministry of Taxes, 16.1% or 249.5m on the State Customs Committee, 14.6% or 226m manats - on State Oil Fund, 2.5% or 39.4m manats commercial services by budget organizations, 0.2% or 3.8m manats by other funds, 0.1% or 1.5m manats - the State Committee on State Property Management.
The forecasts on VAT were implemented by 100.4% and 346.2m manats was remitted to the public.
Incomes tax remittances to the public budget made up 431.1m manats, or 269.8m manats more as compared to the first half-year of 2005.
Public budget expenses made up 20.2% of the GDP and rose almost 3% as compared to 2005, while surplus was 101.2m manats.
