Over the period of January-July 2006, Azerbaijan has imported commodities totaling $920625 from CIS countries, which forms 35.29% of gross import of the country. The amount of export of Azerbaijani commodities to CIS countries was reported at $473353,4 С'ыс. (14,38% of gross export), Trend reports quoting State Customs Committee of Azerbaijan (SCC).
Particularly, fuel oil products, chemical substances, adipose and vegetable oils were exported to CIS countries. And from CIS countries to Azerbaijan, there were imported equipments, land transport means, grain plants, electrical appliances, various types of equipments, etc.
