(autoinsidernews) - Aston Martin's new V8 Roadster was caught on film while being transported in the U.S. These new shots show the production-ready V8 Roadster without any body-cladding or camouflage, and with its canvas top raised for the first time, reports Trend.
Aston Martin has done an excellent job designing a convertible roof that blends in perfectly with the car's sleek, muscular lines. With the fabric top consisting of a lot of fabric and not a lot of glass, rear visability is bound to be compromised when the top is up. But we doubt anyone will remember that once the top is down.
The Aston Martin V8 Roadster is expected to be powered by the same 4.3L V8 from the Vantage V8 coupe, which should lead to 0-60 times in about five seconds and a top speed around 175 mph.
Aston Martin is expected to unveil the V8 Roadster at the Los Angeles Motor Show in November.
