About 45 m. AZN are expected to be assigned from the State Budget to purchase agricultural machinery for Agroleasing OJSC in 2007. 15 m. AZN are expected to be spent on purchasing fertilizers and pesticides, Ismat Abasov, Azerbaijan`s Agriculture Minister told journalists today, Trend reports.
According to him, a day or two ago, he appealed to the Prime-Minister of the country with the request on increasing the volume of means aimed at purchasing agricultural machinery up to 50 m. AZN at the expense of reducing expenses on fertilizers and pesticides down to 10 m. AZN.
In 2006, 28 m. AZN have been spent on acquiring agricultural machinery. Its delivery to the country has not been completed yet. About 10 m. AZN was stipulated in the State Budget to buying fertilizers and pesticides this year.
