Azeri Accounting Chamber Announced Report on Tax Debts to State Budget

For the first half year of 2006, the level of implementation of the tax collections, including debts for the beginning of the current year, equaled 24%, as well as collection of taxes for state property was implemented at 23-7%, private property 11.6%, municipalities 4.9%, external property 90.8% and joint property 60%, Trend reports with reference to the Accounting Chamber of Azerbaijan (AC).

The debts for the state property at the beginning of January 2006 are linked with large tax payers such as AzЙ™renerji JSC tax implementation 4.3%, AzЙ™rikimya - 3,8%, AZAL -7,4%, Caspian Shipping Company -14,5%, AzЙ™riqaz - 15,1%.

The debts of the Taxes Ministry to the state budget have been decreased from AZN 2034.9 mln (January 2006) to AZN 1687.9 mln (July 2006).

For the reported period, the reduction of the debts for private property equaled AZN 445.7 mln (41,8%), external AZN 35 mln. (57,6%), joint property AZN 2.5 mln (36,8%).

The debts for the state property have increased by AZN 136.4 mln (15,1%). The increase of the debts is reported mainly at the expense of large tax payers such as AzЙ™riqaz (AZN 37.5 mln or 4.3%), AzЙ™renerji (AZN 26.8 mln or 28.8%), AZAL (AZN 19.4 mln or 38.4%), AzЙ™rsu (AZN 9.6 mln or 30.5%), others (AZN 9.7 mln or 90.9%).
