13th Annual Conference of the International Insurance Supervision Association is expected to be held in Beijing on October 18-21. During the conference, an official decision on Azerbaijan`s membership in this association is expected to be made, Trend reports referring to a message spread by the Azerbaijani Finance Ministry.
Azerbaijan joining this organization will allow it to estimate the activity of insurance companies operating in the Country in accordance with the principles and standards of the International Insurance Supervision Association. In its turn, that will accelerate the process on integrating these companies into the international insurance market.
Issues of a great importance to the insurance control are discussed, documents defining international standards in this field are adopted, a working plan for the next year is accepted, new members of the organization are accepted, etc during the meeting of the Organization. The International Insurance Supervision Association is a non-profit non-commercial organization.
