Interstate Antimonopoly Council Intends to Install Monopoly Units in the CIS Countries

The Azerbaijan Ministry of Economic Development announced that the 24th meeting of the Interstate Council for Antimonopoly Policy was held in Moscow with the participation of representatives from the Antimonopoly bodies of Azerbaijan, Russia, Belarus, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Ukraine, Kyrgyzstan and Moldova, Trend reports.

Samir Dadashov, the head of the Anti-Monopoly Policy Department of the Ministry of Economic Development, and an employee of this Department represented Azerbaijan in the gathering.

Dadashov delivered a report on Definition of unfair rivalry in advertising activities, as well as informed on methodological approach to the definition to commodity border.

The event also mulled issues of cooperation of CIS countries in regulating advertising activity, definition of subjects holding leading positions in two or more CIS countries, exchange of opinions on training of specialists, organization of training and seminars.
