During January September, 2006, the goods to the sum of $1505902.4 thousands (39.85% out of the total volume of the country's import) has been imported to Azerbaijan from CIS countries. The volume of Azerbaijan`s exported goods to CIS made up the sum of $632812.4 thousands. A red ink to the sum of $873090 thousands has been formed as results of Azerbaijan`s import and export operation with CIS countries.
Azerbaijan`s export to CIS countries mainly consist of fuel, refined oil products, chemical agents, vessels, oil and vegetable fats. CIS countries mainly imported gas, equipment, land carriers, machinery plants, cereals, and electronics to Azerbaijan.
