Trend Charles Svison, a senior economist of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) Statistics Department, is to pay a visit to Azerbaijan from 30 October to 10 November. Trend has been informed at the Finance Ministry that the IMF expert will hold consultations at the Finance Ministry on application and registration of state funds, statistics of public finances, compiling of the public budget in accordance with the new budget classification meeting in the international norms.
Technical assistance was requested by the Finance Ministry and the first mission of IMF experts on deliver of assistance in the application of new budget classification was paid in September 2006.
