(autoinsidernews) - The all-new 2008 Cadillac CTS and high-performance CTS-V have been some of this year's most photographed prototypes, but now we have a video clip of the high-performance CTS-V. Sporting a deeper airdam, upper and lower mesh grilles, upraded wheels and tires, and larger brakes, there is no question that prototype is the new CTS V-Series.
But the soundtrack for the CTS-V likely comes from the 7.0L LS7 that is also seen under the hood of the Corvette Z06. With 500 horsepower on tap mated a six-speed transmission, the 2008 CTS-V should match up well with the best sport sedan from Europe, reports Trend.
With the standard CTS expected next summer, the V-Series should be out by the end of the year or very early in 2008.
