(autoinsidernews) - After recently being caught at the NГјrburgring for some high speed testing, Audi's forthcoming A5 coupe was spotted in Paris. Along with the last set of spy shots, these newest views really show the car's final shape.
The A5 is expected to based on Audi's new modular platform that will also spawn the next-generation A4. Powerplants are likely to include Audi's TFSI and FSI motors, including the 2.0L and 3.6L V6, mated to six-speed manual and S-Tronic transmissions. The A5 will likely be available in high-performance S5 and higher-performance RS5 versions, powered by the current 4.2L V8 seen in the S4 and RS4 with the higher-performance RS5 model developing at least 420-hp, reports Trend.
The A5 is expected to debut at the Geneva Motor Show in March 2007 ahead of the car's launch date in the second half of 2007.
