Starting from 2007, the Ganja Motor-Car will launch assembling lorries and tractors of Byelorussian motor producers, a source in the Cabinet of Ministers of the Country told Trend.

The Azerbaijani Enterprise is expected to launch installing frames of the lorries. The key component parts will be delivered to the country. Motors might be delivered from Russia and Germany. The lorries will be painted in the country. The same approach will be applied in tractor production.

The Ganja Enterprise has already stroke contracts on intentions with Byelorussian MAZ (Minskiy Avtomobilniy Zavod), (Minsk Motor-Car Work) and MTZ (Minskiy Traktorniy Zavod (Minsk Tractor Plant) on assembling and selling the wide spectrum of different tractors and lorries in Azerbaijan.

The volume of the assembling and funds required is still under determination. The Cabinet of Ministers said that the Ganja Plant has outdated and worn out equipment to the sum of over $100-150 mln. We should see what we could use out of that. The means gained form the sale will be sent to assembling new motor-cars, said the source in the Government.

MTZ produces up to 500 modifications of the products, and MAZ up to 400 ones. The Ganja Motor-Car Plant capacity is to assemble up to 1,000 lories and 1,000 tractors per year.

Sale of the commodity goods will be implemented via dealers of the producer. The Azerbaijani Enterprise has already launched assembling Changan cars from China.
