Azerbaijan is Willing to Continue Investing in Ukraine Azeri Ambassador

Azerbaijan is interested in the close economical co-operation with the industrialists of the Donetsk province and is ready to allocate investments, the Azerbaijani Ambassador to Ukraine, Talat Aliyev, stated after the meeting with the Chairman of the Donetsk Council Anatoly Bliznyuk, Trend reports with reference to the Ukrainian media.

The industry has developed immensely in Donetsk. Currently Azerbaijan's economy is developing very rapidly, and therefore, Azerbaijan needs Ukrainian products. My visit to Donetsk is aimed at holding negotiations with the head of the province and expand the trade turnover between Azerbaijan and Donetsk firmly, especially with regards to metal products, chemical products, car-building and other kinds of industry, he said.

According to Aliyev, Azerbaijan is ready to invest in the Donetsk province and consider firm proposals. At present, Azerbaijani investments are made outside the country and are being represented in Ukraine. Currently the Azerbaijani investors have already begun work in Dnieper and Cherkassy provinces. We would like our investors to work in Donetsk as well which is the topic of the negotiations, the Ambassador stated.
